This isn’t fucking beautiful.
Mental disorders are not fucking beautiful.
If you think this is beautiful, you need to go smack yourself in the face.
If you think depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. are just labels to your moods, you need to smack your self in the face with a hardcover book.
If you think telling someone struggling with a mental disorder that they need to ‘grow up’, ‘get over it’, are ‘seeking attention’, etc., you need to smack yourself in the face with a hammer. Hard.
This is a daily fucking struggle. Do you think it’s fun to have to take a cocktail of medications, especially when most of it’s just trial and error?
Here, take this drug, it’ll take two weeks to kick in, and four weeks before you start feeling any kind of change, and even then it might not work for you. Oh, it’s causing insomnia? Take this one to help you sleep. And this one to keep you from throwing up the other two. Oh, it’s been a month and you’re not feeling any better? Let’s up your dosages and see how that works!
If that is beautiful to you, you are a sick, disgusting bastard.
This is a collection of mine and my sister’s current prescriptions.
We’re both fucked.
